CSCS TRAINING IN TELFORD
The Construction industry is a high risk industry which comprises of a wide range of roles and responsibilities involving planning, designing, construction, alterations, maintenance, repairs, retrofit and demolition.
Many of our learners start their journey within the construction industry as a Labourer. Due to the hazardous nature of the role most sites in the UK require all workers to have a knowledge in Health and Safety in a construction environment.
Construction labourer's roles are often there to prepare building sites, maintain safety, clean up and carry out manual jobs once work starts they will also be involved in the cleaning up of a site once work has completed.
ANTA EDUCTION offer Construction courses to enable job seekers and existing workers onto a site safely. Part of the CSCS course is to obtain a Green Laborers Card.
A CSCS Card is mandatory for the majority of employers within the sector, so it should be considered mandatory for anyone wanting to work within the construction industry.
We advise all entry level applicants to the sector to complete the Green Laborer's Card, which is valid for 5 years.
A CSCS Card expires every 5 years. Getting a brand new card involves passing the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test again – by updating your health and safety knowledge every 5 years, your employers and their insurers will have confidence that you're supporting the safety and working conditions of the site.
